Wycombe Wanderers have had a brilliant season so far, and they currently sit in third place with just 14 matches left to play of the campaign.

The promotion race seems set to go down to the wire and the Chairboys are at the heart of it and have been all season.

They have had some stand-out players throughout the campaign, but here are the FIVE best Wycombe players, according to Whoscored....

Coming in at five is Jack Grimmer. Having signed from Coventry City in the summer, he's been influential throughout the campaign.

He'll be feeling the pressure now though as new signing Jason McCarthy continues to battle him for a starting spot in the side.

At four, it's Darius Charles. The 32-year-old centre-back has been at the heart of everything this season and has made himself a stand-out performer.

He's going to be crucial in the run-in if Wycombe are to gain promotion to the Championship.

Fred Onyedinma comes in at number three, and despite playing just 11 League One games because of injury, he has been fantastic.

It's a big bonus for Gareth Ainsworth to have him back from injury.

This man can't not be in it! Adebayo Akinfenwa is the second best according to Whoscored's average match ratings.

He's won the man of the match award on the site more than any other Wycombe player this season.

At one it's Mr.Reliable Joe Jacobson. Eight goals for a defender is a great return, and he's pivotal through his leadership, defensive play and set-piece ability.
