Queens Park Rangers have had a mixed season.

Life under Mark Warburton started unprecedentedly well for QPR - they were in and around the top-ten and looking like they could snatch a play-off spot at one point.

But they soon took a tumble and now they find themselves in the bottom half, but relatively safe from relegation, no less after the 4-2 win against Stoke City last time out.

Here we take a look at the five QPR players with the highest averaging rating on WhoScored this season:

Having been plagued by injuries in his last two seasons, Hall has this time round enjoyed his best spell in the team since his debut season in 2015/16. He's been ever-solid in the QPR defence, having been rebranded club captain upon Warburton's arrival.

The 'Big Friendly German' is now enjoying a loan-spell with Bundesliga outfit FC Koln, but he managed 22 Championship appearances before jetting off last month.

He struggled at times but put in enough performances to merit a top-five spot, according to WhoScored anyway.

Osayi-Samuel has burst onto the scene at QPR and has quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the league.

It took him a couple months of the season to become a regular feature, but now fans couldn't imagine a team without him bombing down the flank.

Another youngster who's come into his own this season, Manning in his new left-back role has been a certified hit.

He started brightly but dropped off a touch, coming back into the side against Stoke last weekend and having one of his best games of the season - definitely worthy of a spot in this top-five.

It had to be Eze. The man who's been so in-demand at QPR this season has had his best season yet, reaching double-figures for goals and creating plenty of them as well.

There's no surprise that the likes of Spurs and Southampton have been sniffing around him, and after a couple of good performances against both Swansea and Stoke recently, he looks to be recapturing his best form.
