Here at FLW we look at the five goals shortlisted for the award...

Which one gets your vote?

Michael Duckworth (Carlisle United Vs HARTLEPOOL UNITED)

Hartlepool United full-back Michael Duckworth is the first player to make the shortlist after his fantastic run, including a one-two with Marlon Harewood, ended in a fantastic finish.

The German-born defender first took on two Carlisle players with a sudden burst of pace before releasing the ball to striker Harewood.

The experienced forward flicked the ball back in the direction of the defender who absolutely thumped his effort into the back of the Carlisle net.

Kemar Roofe (Brentford Vs OXFORD UNITED)

In this Capital One Cup tie which saw League Two side Oxford demolish Championship outfit Brentford 4-0, we witnessed one of the strikes of the season.

After the ball was sent forward by an Oxford midfielder, Brentford 'keeper Jack Bonham headed the ball out to the feet of U's midfielder Kemar Roofe.

Roofe took the ball down on his chest, let the ball bounce and let fly from a good 40 yards out. The ball flew over the 'keepers head and landed in the back of the net.

Jermaine Beckford (PRESTON NORTH END Vs Chesterfield)

In this Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final Preston were already 3-0 up on aggregate but Beckford thought that he'd steal the show by scoring a goal from the halfway line to send North End to Wembley full of confidence.

After recieving the ball from fellow North Ender Bailey Wright he poked the ball through the legs of a Chesterfield player and let fly from just in front of the halfway line.

The ball flew over the head of 'keeper Joe Murphy and the Deepdale faithful went absolutely wild.

Danny Williams (READING Vs Blackburn Rovers)

After a Reading defender sent the ball forward, Hal Robson-Kanu got his head to the ball to flick it on.

Chasing the ball was American midfielder Danny Williams. As he met the ball he was placed on the corner of the penalty box with very little to aim with.

He took the whole crowd by surprise as he let a fierce volley go which went right across the face of goal and ended up right in the top corner of the Blackburn goal.

Marco Matias (Leeds United Vs SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY)

Local derbies are never uneventful and the Sheffield Wednesday player made sure that that wasn't the case.

After the ball was launched forward by a Wednesday defender, the ball was chased down by forward Matias.

When he recieved the ball, he flicked the ball over the head of the Leeds defender and hit an outstanding dipping volley over the head of the Leeds 'keeper, sending the away end into pandemonium.
