Brighton and Hove Albion are having one of their strongest seasons to date and Chris Hughton's side have more than proven why they deserve to be amongst the Championship's best for a couple of years ago.

In what have been hugely developing times on the south coast, and we're beginning to see a Brighton side that in a handful of years time, has the potential to be challenging for European football.

The structure at the club is strong, the relationship between supporters and owners is how it should be and on the pitch, there's some real quality running through this current Seagulls side.

And that can be said no more than for Anthony Knockaert, who again, has surpassed all expectations again this season.

Thought he was good last campaign? Think again - he's upped his game once again this time out and boy has it helped Brighton and their automatic promotion push.

13 goals and eight assists are remarkable figures for any player at any level in the world and if your going to bet who might win the Championship player of the season, you wouldn't be stupid to pop a fair bit of money on the Frenchman.

The £5.95million-rated forward has real quality from set-plays, his running on the wing is superb and quite simply, his ability to make things happen really make him stand out at this level. Which is why more than ever, he deserves his move to the Premier League this summer.

Obviously, it's looking extremely likely that Brighton themselves will get there but should a real top-flight team come in with a bid, the Frenchman should seriously consider it. He has a sense of Christian Eriksen or Henrikh Mkhitaryan about him and for sides like Spurs and United, they could be bagging themselves a real bargain.

Of course, he's not going to cost a snip anymore after yet another strong campaign but one way or another, we should definitely be expecting to see Anthony Knockaert in the Premier League next season.
