QPR's resurgence under Ian Holloway in the Championship has been pretty remarkable over the past couple of months, and the R's are certainly showing signs that could be suggesting they might be able to push for a place in the Premier League next season.

The Hoops have been on a fine run of form and thanks to the new-investment and players brought in by Holloway, the likes of Matt Smith and Luke Freeman are really beginning to prove their worth in the White City.

But despite a good start to his reign at Loftus Road, there's certainly still work to be done by Ian Holloway and plenty of thought will turn to summer investment over the next couple of weeks, as he looks to build a squad capable of mixing it with big boys towards the top of the division next season.

And one man we think would be a cracking addition to the squad would be the loan capture of £425,000-rated Spurs youngster Cameron Carter Vickers, who has been tipped for very big things on both the international and club circuit.

He's opted to play for the USA at international level but at club level, he's expected to become a big part of this Spurs side in years to come but right now, he needs regular game-time under his belt at a decent level, which could open up the doors to a transfer to QPR.

Many R's fans don't see a future for Nedum Onuoha at the club and Vickers would be a cracking replacement, albeit just for a season. The burly defender has caught the eye for his ability to read the game, his physical presence and calmness in bringing the ball out from the back.

Even if it is for a temporary spell, this is a move that would help both QPR and Spurs.

In loaning him across London, Spurs will only be furthering his development, whilst QPR will pose no threat to any potential Premier League title push next season. It seems like a win-win to us.
