It's been a superb League One campaign for Millwall who are one step away from being promoted back to the Championship.

Now led by Neil Harris, the Lions have to get past Bradford City in the League One play-off final to take their place back in the second tier.

And one man who has been absolutely instrumental to most of their success this season has been Steve Morison, who has been in fantastic form for most of the campaign.

A real Millwall man, the 33-year-old has really proven his quality having transferred back to The Den from Leeds United, where he's hit 13 goals and created nine assists for his side this campaign.

Granted, he's a fair way off when it comes to the top goalscorers in the division but having a player that can both score and create chances, especially when the going gets tough has been really important for Harris this season.

We've all seen enough of Morison to know what you're going to get from him when he takes to the field these days.

He's a burly, hard-working unit who makes life extremely difficult for defenders.

But one thing the Lions must resist doing over the summer months is moving him on.

Transfermarkt value him at around £425,000, which we think just isn't enough for a player of his quality.

Granted, Harris and his team have to get through a seriously tough play-off final against Bradford City before they can think about any Championship campaign, but keeping Morison is of paramount quality.

He knows this level very well indeed and you can see him doing a job for someone like Bristol or Ipswich next season.

Millwall must resist the temptation of moving him on so he can lead their potential Championship campaign.
