Swansea City left for pastures new when they moved from their old home of Vetch Field to the Liberty Stadium back in 2005.

It was a move that clearly was made with the intention of establishing the Swans as a top club in the footballing pyramid and with their unprecedented run to the top flight most fans would argue that exactly that has happened.

Since the move, Swansea City has been a club that has made staggering progress which culminated in them enjoying 7 seasons as an established Premier League club until their relegation last year.

Although some Swansea fans yearn for the more intimidating atmosphere of their previous home, it cannot be argued that they have ever enjoyed a more successful period than they have since the turn of the decade.

Who have been the star men at the attacking end of the pitch since their new home opened 13 years ago? We take a look back at the four greatest strikers to grace the Liberty Stadium.

With a goal in every other game during his time with Swansea, Jason Scotland became a cult hero in the early years of the Liberty Stadium. He scored 29 goals and was the top scorer in 2008 when Swansea won promotion to the second tier.

Another cult hero, Lee Trundle was one of the best entertainers the lower leagues have seen in the last 20 years. A hugely impressive record of 78 goals in 146 games between 2003-2007 showed he was more than just an entertainer.

Although the tag of one season wonder has been used to describe Michu, Swansea fans will not forget his time at the Liberty. 18 goals in 35 games in the 2012-13 season more than paid back his transfer fee of just £2m.

At £12m, much was expected following the arrival of Wilfried Bony. The Ivorian duly obliged, netting 26 goals in 54 games before his ultimately failed transfer to Manchester City. He's back with the Swans and most neutrals hope he regains his former prowess.
