Aston Villa got themselves a huge win last night as Jack Grealish rattled home a wonder-strike to help the club beat Cardiff City.

The men from Villa Park have had a tough couple of weeks with them losing ground on the top two but they certainly did themselves no harm last night as they beat Neil Warnock's men 1-0.

For sure, then, the top two dream is still alive but, regardless, the club will surely compete in the play-offs if they do not manage to make the automatic spots.

That all said, whatever happens between now and the end of the campaign the Villans will be looking to shake their squad up and it's a possible a number of players could be leaving if they don't quickly prove themselves.

With just a few games to go, then, here are four players who may still need to look to assure their place at the club for next season...

Gabby Agbonlahor is more than likely on his way out of the club even if he scored hat-tricks in every game remaining this season.

Certainly, he's fallen well down the pecking order this year and it looks as though he won't feature in Villa's promotion push.

If, however, Steve Bruce decides to get sentimental and give him a chance, maybe he could just produce the goods?

Yeah, it's not likely.

James Bree has had a tough campaign this season and has largely been out of the side for one reason or another.

He's featured a little more of late thanks to injuries to those in front of him but, even so, there's surely question marks over his long-term future.

He's a good player with potential but he'll need to show that if he gets the chance in these final games that he can realise that with Villa.

Henri Lansbury has looked short of confidence and fitness thanks to a number of injury issues this season.

That's left him far down the pecking order at Villa and it is by no means certain that he'll stay at the club past the summer.

There's undoubtedly talent in his boots but if he doesn't get the chance to show it before the end of the campaign and an offer comes in, you could see it being accepted.

Mile Jedinak is potentially a debatable choice given the experience he gives you but he's not been at the level he was at last year.

Certainly, injuries have played their part in that but if Villa go up can he be relied upon to play regularly at that level?

You'd imagine he'd stay put but, like Lansbury, if an offer came in and the club could get a replacement, they might just entertain the idea. Might.
