QPR's luck has begun to run out in recent weeks and the Hoops' original good form under new manager Ian Holloway has now begun to subside.

They lost 3-1 to close rivals Brentford at Griffin Park and although they're technically safe from the drop, Holloway would have liked to have seen a stronger end to the season from his troops.

And one of the big concerns that needs to be sorted over the summer is the lack of goals we've seen at Loftus Road this season.

The January arrivals of Luke Freeman and Matt Smith have gone some way to helping the goals somewhat flow in White City in the second half of the season, but more needs to be added this summer.

And one player we've been slightly disappointed with this season is Conor Washington, who took is goal-less streak to 10 without a reply following the defeat to Brentford this weekend.

And after the goalscoring struggles we've seen from the R's this season, there's one player we think could come in and do a decent job for Holloway next season.

The man in question? £380,000-rated striker Clayton Donaldson, who has struggled at Birmingham this season.

Prior to the arrival or Lukas Jutkiewicz at St Andrews, Jamaican international Donaldson was very much the main man for the Blues but as he's struggled with injuries this season, his involvement in the first-team has too.

And with management changing again at St Andrews this week, there's the probability that no player in this Blues squad is safe and he might have to find a new club this summer.

He'd be a solid addition to a QPR side that needs an injection of goals.
