Nottingham Forest can finally look forward to their future under Mark Warburton, after securing their Championship status with a 3-0 victory over Ipswich Town at the City Ground on Sunday afternoon.

The former Brentford and Rangers boss definitely possesses the qualities to take Forest up to the Premier League, and with a revitalised City Ground and a new owner behind him, the next few years will certainly be exciting for the East Midlands club.

Forest's recruitment in the summer, however, is vitally important for their progress under the new regime at the club, and Warburton will undoubtedly already be looking for fresh, new talent, of whom can strengthen what is already a talented squad left at his disposal.

The introduction of youth this year has perhaps been one of the most pleasing aspects of the season for Forest fans, especially the likes of Jordan Smith and Joe Worrall who have bolstered the Reds defence.

However, one player that Warburton NEEDS to cast an eye on is a player that performed magnificently well in Forest's final day victory over Ipswich, and that man is Bartosz Bialkowski.

The Polish shot-stopper pulled off some fantastic saves on the final day of the 2016/17 season, and was definitely let down by his outfield teammates on the day.

The £340k-rated star, who has been named as the Supporters’ Player of the Year for the Tractorboys in the past two seasons, has a contract which runs until summer 2018 but the Tractor Boys have the option to extend it by a further twelve months.

Bialkowski is no stranger to the city of Nottingham, having endured two good seasons at Notts County back in 2012 to 2014, therefore knows of the size and stature of the club on the red side of the River Trent.

As alluded to before, Jordan Smith has been magnificent between the sticks for Forest when called upon this season, however right now in his career, one would think that it would be incredibly unfair to start the youngster week in week out in what could be a promotion pushing season.

Furthermore, the only senior keepers at the club are youngsters Smith and Dimitar Evtimov, as well as Vladmir Stojkovic who could soon be well on his way out of the club, as well as Stephen Henderson, who is hit and miss with the Forest faithful, therefore it is definitely a position that needs strengthening.

So... What do you think Forest fans? Should the Reds go in for Bartosz Bialkowski? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
