The Championship is well known for having some of the most passionate fans in England, with thousands and thousands of fans turning up week in week out to support their chosen teams.
However, it is also well known that some fan bases are much better at creating a magical, intimidating atmosphere than others and several stadiums remain half empty, with lots of fans choosing to vote with their feet when it comes to protesting against poor ownership and everyday running of the club.
This was most prominent amongst Bolton and Charlton last season, where the fans chose to protest by boycotting match-days and organising walk-outs and match disruptions, and they paid the price, with both sides suffering relegation.
There are many thing to consider when looking at something like this, with match attendances, atmosphere and the travelling fans who cough up £30 week in week out to travel far and wide to watch their side.
So here, in the opinion of FLW writer Harry Smith, are the THREE clubs with the worst support bases in the Championship…
