Birmingham City have had a turbulent decade that has seen a number of managers come through the door.
The Blues were relegated from the Premier League after a lengthy stay in the top flight and many presumed that they would make an instant return.
That wasn’t to be, and Birmingham instead fell into the trap that many fall into by underestimating the Championship and then finding themselves stuck in the division.
They have made a couple of near attempts at promotion, but for the most part, have been a mid-table side.
Gary Rowett looked like the one to end the hurt, as he had Birmingham on form going into the Christmas period – in and around the playoffs – but he was sacked.
His replacement failed to get the best of the team and thanks to Rowett’s sacking, he had lost the dressing room before he had even started.
Here, we look at some of the worst managers in Birmingham’s history.
