This summer is shaping up into a key few months for West Bromwich Albion, who are preparing themselves for a return to the Sky Bet Championship.

Last season saw West Brom lose their Premier League status, and after a really difficult campaign for the Baggies, Darren Moore is now preparing his side for the Championship.

The Championship is a unique division that is more than capable of trapping West Brom for a lengthy period of time, meaning their preparation for the upcoming season is going to be crucial.

Moore’s planning has to be spot on, with the work he does in the transfer window ultimately going to define how West Brom do next season.

Additions are going to have to be made, but Moore also needs to trim his squad and move players on this summer.

With that in mind, here is a look at THREE currently walking a tightrope at the Hawthorns…

McClean made some very public comments on his long-term future with West Brom.

They will not have been appreciated by the Baggies, particularly during last season's relegation fight.

Moore needs to get a better attitude within his squad next season and could move McClean on.

You can’t deny Livermore’s quality, which has put him in Gareth Southgate’s thoughts for England.

However, the midfielder disappointed at West Brom last season, not having the impact many expected him to have.

That form from last season has certainly dented his reputation and Moore might look to move him on ahead of the new campaign.

Like Livermore, West Brom needed Barry to step up last season, but he went missing.

The experienced midfielder could be helpful in the Championship, but again, Moore might want to start fresh in the second-tier.

Barry was involved in last season’s infamous ‘taxi-gate’, which will not have been forgotten at the Hawthorns.
