Both Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday face summers of transition after disappointing campaigns last term.

Leeds finished in the bottom half after failing to build on the previous season's near miss.

Both Thomas Christiansen and Paul Heckingbottom failed to lift Leeds to a play-off charge and now they have opted for a new direction altogether, bringing in maverick Argentine Marcelo Bielsa to lead the side.

Sheffield Wednesday, meanwhile, were expecting more success after finishing in the play-offs for two consecutive seasons.

But any hopes of a promotion were soon derailed and Carlos Carvalhal was sacked with the club in free-fall towards the relegation zone.

A disappointing season ended brightly, though, with the fans seeing signs of encouragement and being reminded that they actually have some top players.

But how many of those Owls players would get into the Leeds team?

Here are three that we believe would get a start if they moved to Leeds.

Reach won Sheffield Wednesday's Player of the Year last season for a string of stunning displays.

His versatility would make him a useful option for Leeds and he can play at left-back, left-wing-back, central midfield, attacking midfield or on either wing.

Lees played well over 100 games for Leeds after graduating through the club's academy and he would be a welcome addition to their squad now.

Bielsa likes to play three at the back and the 27-year-old would slot in alongside Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson for the Whites.

Another versatile player who could be useful for Leeds is Forestieri.

The 28-year-old knows where the net is at this level and is able to play as a centre-forward, inverted winger or as a number 10 in Bielsa's system.
