There’s still plenty to play for at Bramall Lane between now and the end of the season, with Sheffield United still in play-off contention.

Chris Wilder’s side are part of the chasing pack, and should they miss out, could be left ruing a missed opportunity come the end of the season.

The Blades have ben terrific on their Championship return, putting in some really efficient performances along the way to pick up some huge results.

The playing squad at Wilder’s disposal have not struggled at all adapting to life back in the Championship, and have managed to stay in play-off contention throughout the campaign.

There is still an opportunity for the Blades to break into the top-six in the coming weeks, with Wilder sure to be urging his squad to find one last level to get them over the line.

However, if they fail to do so and find themselves definitely in the Championship next season, they could face an uphill battle retaining the service of some of their stars.

With that in mind, here is a look at THREE players we expect to see attracting Premier League interest…

Brooks is the obvious place to start, with the young Welsh international already on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs.

Sheffield United have him tied down to a lengthy contract, but money could talk in the summer.

Wilder will be readying himself for interest.

O’Connell has been superb in central defence for the Blades, really impressing in the Championship.

The 24-year-old has made light work of some strikers this season and looked like a classy Championship defender.

He is destined to play at a higher level and could attract some interest in the summer.

Coutts has missed most of the season due to a broken leg, but before his injury, he was Sheffield United’s standout player.

The midfielder has the ability to dictate play with ease and he has been sorely missed since his injury.

His lack of game time might put some Premier League clubs off, but he certainly has enough quality to take the step up.
