Birmingham City head into Sunday's Second City derby in good form, with Garry Monk's men just four points outside the play-offs.

That's a remarkable turnaround when you consider the start of the season that Blues had.

The West Midlands side only won their first game on 22 September, yet they've managed to pick up maximum points in four of their eight games since.

A key reason for that has been the form of Che Adams, who has formed a deadly partnership with Lukas Jutkiewicz up top for Monk.

The former Sheffield United man has eight goals for the campaign and the Telegraph have revealed that Stoke are interested in the forward.

Gary Rowett is keen on working with the 22-year-old again having brought him to St. Andrew's and could table a £5m bid in the New Year.

Even though that's highly unlikely to be accepted, a more tempting offer might come in and Monk will have to think about replacements.

Here we look at THREE quality options out there...

Monk would want to replace Adams with players who boast similar qualities and Maja falls into that category.

He has great pace, good movement and is probably a better finisher.

Obviously, Sunderland would be reluctant to sell, but if Blues get a big fee for their man, they may be able to do a deal with the League One side.

Meite has been the shining light for Reading in recent weeks and has six goals for the season.

That's a very impressive return and he is another who has good pace and movement that would work well with Jutkiewicz up top.

Another striker Monk would have to consider is Robinson, who came through the ranks at bitter rivals Aston Villa.

The Ireland international has been in fine form for Preston this season, finding a consistency in his play and scoring goals regularly, whilst at 23, he is only going to get better.
