Fulham are well in the hunt for promotion in the Sky Bet Championship, with the Premier League in the Cottagers’ sights.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side have hit form just at the right time heading into the final stage of the season, with Fulham finding themselves in a battle with Cardiff City for the second automatic promotion place.

With Wolves already up, Cardiff have their destiny in their own hands, but Fulham are in contention, and if they fail to clinch a place in the top-two, they will have the play-offs to fall back on.

Jokanovic’s side will have learnt a lot from last season’s failed play-off attempt, and if they end up missing out on automatic promotion, they will still fancy their chance of securing a Premier League return.

If promotion is achieved, Jokanovic shouldn’t have to alter his talented squad too much.

However, some players won’t be taken forward, and with that in mind, here is a look at THREE players we are expecting to see leave Craven Cottage if promotion is achieved…

Norwood is at Fulham on-loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, but has found himself behind the likes of Kevin McDonald, Tom Cairney and Stefan Johansen this season.

If promotion is achieved, it is hard to see Jokanovic pursuing a permanent deal.

However, if Fulham find themselves preparing for Championship football again, he could be an option they turn to permanently.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is spearheading Fulham’s promotion push, with Fonte left to play a sideshow at Craven Cottage.

You’d imagine Jokanovic would want more firepower next year in the Premier League, which could spell the end for Fonte.

Ayite has featured regularly for Fulham this season, but you wonder whether he has Premier League quality.

The likes of Sheyi Ojo and Lucas Piazon could return on-loan from Liverpool and Chelsea, which would leave Fulham overloaded in the wide areas.

Ayite could be a player sacrificed.
