Norwich City will be hoping to restrict their stay in the Championship to just one season.

The Canaries were relegated from the Premier League last term but have won promotion right back to the top tier in their last two campaigns in the second division so there will be optimism that they can do the same again.

It's been a fairly quite summer window in terms of incomings – with Gabriel Sara and Isaac Hayden the only new arrivals – but there have already been a fair few departures.

There are also a number of players at Carrow Road that currently face an uncertain future with the transfer window in full flow...

Josh Martin

Norwich attacker Josh Martin does not have a place in Dean Smith's plans for the upcoming Championship season.

The 20-year-old was sent away from the club twice on loan last season but it is said that the Canaries are looking to sell him for a fee in the current window with clubs interested.

Martin indicated in March that he was keen to force his way into Smith's thinking for 2022/23 but it seems he's now waiting to see where he'll be playing his football this term.

Sebastian Soto

Sebastian Soto is back at Carrow Road after seeing his trial at Barnsley cut short.

The 21-year-old looks out of favour at the club and had joined the Tykes for part of their pre-season schedule but boss Michael Duff has confirmed they're no longer interested due after the player arrived with a foot injury.

That leaves Soto in an uncertain position ahead of the new campaign.

Christos Tzolis

Christos Tzolis has been linked with a move away from Norwich this summer with Belgian side Club Brugge thought to be the most likely destination should he depart.

However, the 20-year-old has been involved in the Canaries' pre-season schedule and found the net in the 2-0 win against King's Lynn last week.

What that means for his future and where he'll be plying his trade in 2022/23 is unclear at the moment.
