On the whole, Daniel Farke’s first season in the Sky Bet Championship has been a bit of a disappointment, with Norwich City never really mounting a serious push on the play-off places.

Following last night’s 1-1 draw with Barnsley at Oakwell, Norwich sit 14th in the Championship table, having picked up 49 points from their 37 fixtures.

Farke’s side are entering the nine-match run-in on a worrying run of form, having drawn six of their last seven, which leaves them without a victory since a 1-0 triumph over Middlesbrough in early February.

With Norwich’s season drifting towards a mid-table finish, there is every chance that Farke will be assessing his squad in the coming weeks, identifying who has the ability to take the club forward.

Here at FLW, we look at the season gone by and identify THREE players who have disappointed at Carrow Road over the course of the season so far…

Pinto has plenty of fans at Carrow Road, but his ability has to be thrown into question.

The 28-year-old has been caught out on plenty of occasions this season, with his contribution defensively far from convincing.

The Portuguese defender has a lot to prove in the coming weeks.

Watkins arrived at Carrow Road on the back of a hugely impressive campaign with Barnsley in the Championship.

However, the 27-year-old has struggled to work his way into Farke’s starting XI on a regular basis.

Watkins has just one goal to his name this season.

Oliveira has eight goals to his name this season, which makes reasonably good reading, however, for a player of his ability, he should’ve had more of an impact at Carrow Road.

The striker is one of the best around in the Championship, which will frustrate Norwich’s supporters, who will feel they haven’t seen the best of him.

The 26-year-old should really have been the man dragging Norwich’s season along, not James Maddison.
