We are heading into the Sky Bet Championship run-in, with the bulk of the division still having a lot to play for between now and the end of the season.

Unfortunately for Leeds United, their season is drifting towards a mid-table finish, with Paul Heckingbottom’s side not likely to find themselves in the thick of the action at either end of the table.

It looked for large parts that Leeds would be competing for the play-offs at the very least during the first-half of the season, with the Whites performing magnificently.

However, since Boxing Day, Leeds have just one victory to their name, with an extremely poor second-half of the season resulting in the Whites dropping to a mid-table position.

Andrea Radrizzani, Leeds’ owner, has thrown the commitment of the playing squad into question this week, delivering a public dressing down of Heckingbottom’s squad.

Here at FLW, we follow that up by looking at the THREE most disappointing performers at Elland Road this season…

The decision to let Rob Green leave and place faith in Wiedwald has backfired massively on Leeds, who have missed the former more than they ever would’ve imagined.

Wiedwald finds himself out of the starting XI for the second time this season, with Heckingbottom placing faith in Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

It hasn’t been an easy introduction to life in the Championship for Wiedwald and you doubt whether he will bounce back.

Sacko was signed after a steady season on-loan at Elland Road, with Leeds viewing the Frenchman as a risk worth taking in the summer.

However, since arriving permanently, Sacko has flopped and has never given himself a chance of an extended run in the starting XI.

The winger might’ve had his last chance under Heckingbottom.

This is a slightly controversial inclusion, as Vieira hasn’t been the worst performer at Elland Road, however, the midfielder hasn’t built on a fine first season of senior football.

Vieira burst onto the scene last year, but this year hasn’t progressed and hasn’t looked fully fit for a lot of the campaign.

The 19-year-old will hope he can finish the season on a high.
