It’s been a difficult six weeks for Leeds United, with Marcelo Bielsa having to deal with a number of injuries.

Leeds lost the likes of Kemar Roofe and Pablo Hernandez earlier in the month, whilst Barry Douglas has picked up a problem in the last week meaning he will sit out tomorrow’s clash against Brentford.

Add to that, Patrick Bamford and Izzy Brown are long-term absentees, leaving Bielsa with little option but to turn to some of Leeds’ academy to fill out his squad.

Tomorrow’s clash with Brentford is going to test Leeds, particularly with a number of players missing through injury.

There are some tough selection calls for Bielsa to make, as Leeds look to enter the international break on the back of another victory.

Here at FLW, we take a look at THREE dilemmas the Argentinian will be thinking about ahead of Saturday…

With Barry Douglas out, Pearce or Dallas are set to step in at left-back.

Pearce is a natural left-back, but Dallas is a winger who can cover the position.

It appears that Bielsa is edging toward Dallas, but it’s sure to be giving him a headache.

Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Klich are playing very well, but Bielsa will be concerned about how much football they are having to play.

Forshaw is waiting in the wings for his chance in midfield, with Bielsa limiting him to substitute appearances.

It’s unlikely a change will be made, but Bielsa might be considering it.

Jack Harrison and Ezgjan Alioski are currently featuring, but neither had a good evening against Hull City.

They lack consistency, and if Pearce is preferred at left-back, we could see Dallas handed an opportunity in a more advanced position.
