League One might not hold the glitz and glamour that the Premier League does, and it is even a million miles away from the Championship nowadays, with all the money floating about in the top two leagues. But one thing that makes League One stand out, is its passionate supporters.
For some clubs, it has been years in the wilderness, some trading places with the division below while some have enjoyed brief periods of success only to find themselves back in League One before they know it.
Clubs with rich history like Coventry currently find themselves in England’s third tier, while clubs like Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves have all had a spell down their in recent years.
However, most clubs continue to be well backed both home and away when it comes to a Saturday afternoon.
