It is now less than two weeks until Stoke City kick-off their 2022/23 Championship campaign.

It's a tough test for the Potters up first, with a trip to The Den to face Millwall in their season opener.

In the market this summer, the club have already made some good additions, with the likes of Josh Laurent and Aden Flint joining the club on free transfers.

In the coming weeks, though, Stoke may face pressure to keep hold of one or two.

With that in mind, we've picked out two Potters players facing an uncertain future with the transfer window in full flow.

Josh Tymon

For obvious reasons, Josh Tymon is the first player on our list.

Linked with a move away from the Bet 365 Stadium all summer, first to Rangers and now to Leeds United, it will be interesting to see how the next few weeks pan out for the young full-back.

Stoke City are said to want £6 million pounds for the player, so it will certainly be interesting to see if Leeds United are willing to pay it.

Indeed, with the Whites current first-choice left-back Junior Firpo sidelined with injury until September, and Stuart Dallas also out for a while, it may be that Leeds decide the 23-year-old is worth it.

Peter Etebo

Another Potter facing an uncertain future is midfielder Peter Etebo.

The Nigerian international spent last campaign on loan at Watford, but suffered an ACL injury that would see him miss a large chunk of the campaign.

As such, the Hornets did not take up their option to make his move to Vicarage Road a permanent one earlier this summer.

There have been reports the club are looking to offload the player, so his future is up in the air right now as the Potters try to find a potential suitor.
