Chris Wilder has wasted no time in bolstering Sheffield United's squad, as they prepare for life in the Championship after spending six gruelling years out of it.

The Blades have already secured the signing of Hartlepool United talisman Nathan Thomas and Chesterfield striker Ched Evans, who needs no further introduction to the Bramall Lane faithful.

The Yorkshire club are also reportedly close to completing the capture of Portsmouth left-back Enda Stevens, which shows the intent that Wilder is displaying in order to take the Blades up and beyond next campaign.

The Championship is a harsh, tough environment where anything can happen though, and the Blades still need to recruit in other areas if they are to go for yet another promotion in 2017/18.

A huge club like Sheffield United wouldn't have any problems in attracting players to the club, but which two other players should Chris Wilder in order to compete with the fellow big boys next year?

FLW writer George Harbey here identifies TWO players who'd be shrewd signings for Wilder's side...

Graham Carey

Graham Carey has been influential for Plymouth Argyle over the last couple of years, since arriving from Ross County in 2015.

The Irishman has netted a total of 24 goals in 77 games for the Devon club, who clinched automatic promotion to League One a couple of weeks back.

Carey is definitely going to attract many potential suitors in the summer, and his ability to play out wide or in behind the frontman will be a key asset to any club.

His pace and agility behind the prolific Billy Sharp would be a formidable partnership for the Blades next season.

Dani Pinillos

Should a move for Enda Stevens not materialise for the Blades, then Pinillos would be an incredible acquisition for the Yorkshire club.

Nottingham Forest fans were disappointed to say the least when learning that the Spaniard would not be signing a new deal upon its expiry at the City Ground, which shows the quality that the 24-year old possesses.

Pinillos made a total of 35 appearances for the Reds over his three year stint at the East Midlands club.

The Blades should definitely look to make a move for the highly-rated Spaniard, who has crucial Championship experience under his belt.

So...What do you think Blades fans? Would these two players be good additions for United? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
