Queens Park Rangers are finally beginning to find some form after what has been a dismal start to the Championship campaign.

Steve McClaren's men lie 22nd in the Championship standings, suffering four straight league defeats before a 1-0 victory over Wigan Athletic, then a 0-0 draw away at Birmingham City last weekend.

Many R's fans have voiced their discontent at McClaren and feel like much more could have been done in the summer transfer window, despite loan signing Tomer Hemed impressing since his arrival from Brighton and Hove Albion.

There will be some players who will surely be unhappy not to have departed Loftus Road in the summer, whether that'd be due to higher expectations, or simply because they aren't getting enough game time.

Here, we identify two players who will surely be unhappy at not leaving QPR in the summer...

After being deemed "desperate" to get rid of the striker in the summer, a move away from Loftus Road never materialised for the 27-year-old who has spent two years at the West London club.

Sylla's goalscoring record hasn't been too bad for the R's, netting 17 times in 61 appearances, but for whatever reason, the Guinea international has failed to make his mark at Loftus Road...

Former Swansea right-back Angel Rangel is becoming a popular figure at Loftus Road, and his string of impressive performances has pushed the young Kakay further down the pecking order.

A loan move would have been perhaps the most beneficial move for the 21-year old, who failed to make a key impact on Steve McClaren in the R's Carabao Cup victory over Bristol Rovers recently.
