Nottingham Forest’s first-team squad is blessed with talent, with Aitor Karanka having some of the Championship’s best players at his disposal.

It might’ve been a shaky start to the season for the Reds, but Karanka’s side appear to be building some momentum, with a new-look squad getting used to each other.

The size of Forest’s squad is quite remarkable, with Karanka boasting the most first-team players in the division.

Of course, that makes progression for the club’s under-23s very difficult, although there is still a lot of interest in the youth system at the City Ground.

Earlier this week, Forest’s under-23s headed to Thorp Arch to take on Leeds United, with their clash attracting plenty of interest.

According to the Nottingham Post, scouts from Arsenal, Everton and Wolves were all in attendance in Leeds.

Here at FLW, we take a look at the TWO Forest youngster we believe were on the radar…

Yates is a player who could have a big future.

The powerful midfielder has plenty of experience out on loan in the EFL, with the 20-year-old’s reputation growing.

There’s every chance that he’s on the radar of a few.

The England youth international is another exciting player that was on show in Leeds.

The likes of Arsenal, Everton and Wolves could well be interested in the 17-year-old, who looks like he will have a huge future ahead of him.

Appiah is on the verge of Forest’s first-team, but if opportunities don’t come soon, any interest from Premier League clubs could be too hard to resist.
