After a slow start to the season, Millwall have won three of their last four games to pull clear of the relegation zone.

All three wins have come at The Den, with Neil Harris' side making it the fortress that it was during their successful previous campaign that almost ended in a top six finish.

Despite the recent positive signs, the 41-year-old will still feel that new players are needed to help the side have a strong second half to the season.

The Londoners lost key player George Saville late in the summer window and even though Ryan Leonard replaced him in the midfield, it should mean Harris has some money to spend.

And, he will want to beef up a squad that looks light in key areas.

Here we look at TWO quality additions that would seriously improve the Millwall side...

The experienced winger is out of favour at Celtic but still has a lot to offer. The Irishman was a key player at Aberdeen and could thrive in this Millwall side.

Harris' men struggle in the final third and they need a new winger to provide a different attacking threat.

Hayes is direct, hardowrking and has the attributes to suit the Millwall side and give them more quality in the final third.

The Lions are a direct side and Harris isn't going to change now, so it's about playing to those strengths.

And, QPR's Smith is a standout target man in the league. The giant forward is excellent in the air, will weigh in with goals and brings others into play with his hold-up ability.

He's down the pecking order at Loftus Road and would be a starter, and fans favourite, at The Den.
