Stoke City have enjoyed a very productive summer with Gary Rowett bringing in several quality players to the club.
The likes of Tom Ince, Benik Afobe and Oghenekaro Etebo have all joined the Potters, giving them a squad that many in the Championship will be envious of.
However, their opening game against Leeds United did not go to plan at all, with the Whites winning 3-1.
Obviously, it’s only one game, but the manner of the performance may have concerned Rowett and convinced him that he needs to go back into the market.
The Potters looked weak in key areas and the former Derby boss may want to bring more depth to his squad ahead of what will be a very long season.
