Paul Clement will hope to strengthen his Reading squad ahead of the transfer deadline, which is tomorrow at 5pm.

The Royals have had a fairly busy summer with Clement making changes to his squad, bringing in players such as David Meyler, John O'Shea and Marc McNulty.

However, many observers feel they are still a side who could struggle after surviving on the final day of the previous campaign.

And, with Liam Moore potentially leaving for Brighton, it means they could continue the season without a key player.

Yet, they will take heart from their opening day performance against Derby, as even though it ended in defeat, Reading were comfortably the better team, playing some impressive stuff, especially in the first half.

But, Clement will know he needs more depth if they are to maintain those levels throughout the season.

Here are two players they should finalise before the deadline tomorrow...

The Wolves defender has been linked with the Royals and he would be an excellent replacement for Moore if he leaves.

Hause is a powerful player and he was simply unfortunate that Willy Boly is the left centre-back at Molineux otherwise he would've played a lot more.

Game time at Molineux will be hard to come by again this season, so he should be available and if Reading can get him, even on loan, it would be a superb signing.

Fulton is another who has been linked with a move to the Madejski Stadium and he too would be a smart signing.

The Swansea man is capable on the ball, would help the side keep possession and build-up play which was lacking at times on Friday.

As well as that, he is a man that Clement will know well from his time in Wales so he could get the best out of him.
