It's been an incredible summer for Nottingham Forest fans with the club bringing in 11 new signings as they look to push for promotion this season.

And, the early signs have been positive.

Whilst they took a while to get going against Bristol City on Saturday, where they drew 1-1, the Reds were fantastic against West Brom last night.

Even though they were held to another draw in the end, the performance will have delighted fans, with several new players showing exactly what they can bring to the team.

Yet, it's also show that there are still some areas of weakness and manager Aitor Karanka will want those recitfied before the transfer market closes at 5pm tomorrow.

Given how competitive the Championship is, it's vital for Forest that they have real quality in depth if they are to fight it out for one of the two top spots.

Here we look at two potential deals the Spaniard will want to finalise before the deadline...

Karanka has been chasing the right-back all summer and a deal has appeared close on several occasions but it's still not over the line.

With Tendayi Darikwa the only senior option in that position, it's vital they bring in another option and the West Ham man would be an upgrade.

He is out of favour completely with the Londoners so it's hard to grasp why a deal hasn't been done, although it still has time to get done.

If Forest get Byram you would think they are sorted and anything else would be a bonus.

However, they have been linked with Ojo and he is the sort of player that can provide them with something different.

The Liverpool winger is quick, skilful and could develop into a top player. He has the potential to be a star in this league so if he's on the market then Karanka should be looking to add him to his squad.
