There have been plenty of lessons learnt for Nottingham Forest manager Mark Warburton during his first couple of months in-charge at the City Ground.

The Reds just about survived on the last day thanks to a superb 3-0 win over Ipswich Town, the sort of result you might have expected to see coming out of the City Ground at the start of the season.

But it's been quite the struggle and former manager Philippe Montanier certainly found out the hard way just how tough this division in.

But with the Reds' Championship future now secure, there's a big job to do over the summer to balance the squad to ensure it's ready to compete at this level next season.

And one man we think would make an excellent addition to the squad is £2.5million-rated forward Lima, who is currently a free agent having left Al Ahli in February.

The former Benfica star had a good spell in Egypt but is best known for his time in Benfica, where he banged in over 70 goals in a three-year spell between 2012 and 2015.

Now 33-years-old, the Brazilian forward is on the lookout for an opportunity to sign this summer and he's the sort of player we could see shining at this level with Forest.

If the Reds can get Assombalonga fit and firing again then pairing him with a striker that definitely knows where the back of the net is would be a superb move.

Lima is a striker with a proven track record who will get goals at this level. Of course, if the club can sort out an agreement regarding wages, he might be a superb addition to the squad.
