Nahki Wells has been one of the Championship's top-performing strikers for a while now, but his progress under David Wagner this season has meant he's often found himself out of the headlines for long spells in the campaign.

The former Bradford City man has played close to 40 games for the Terriers this season but has only dispatched 10 goals, a far-cry from what we've seen from the Bermuda-born forward in the past.

He's a pacy customer and rated at over £2.55 million, it shows that there's definitely a market for his signature, if someone did want to come in for him this summer.

But these are changing times under David Wagner in Yorkshire and those who aren't performing at their best will face the real risk of being left behind if they don't play to their best.

One of those could be Nahki Wells, who has shown in the past that he could play potentially above this level, only to have a poor season this time out to stint his progress up the divisions in England.

Wagner will be prowling the foreign markets this summer and we could be about to see the next big thing at Huddersfield this season, which could jeopardise Wells' place in the first-team.

Over the next handful of games, he really needs to start proving his worth to the side or he might find himself being axed this summer.
