Cardiff City's progression up the Championship table under manager Neil Warnock has been seriously admirable since the former Leeds United man took charge at the club, and there are some supporters who are really fancying their chances of a play-off push next season.

There's plenty of work still to do this summer and there are plenty of Bluebirds supporters who think that with a decent squad overhaul, and some good investment over the summer that the team could be showing the sort of form we've seen from the likes of Leeds United and Huddersfield this campaign.

But we think there's one man that could really help the Bluebirds climb the table next season and that's £1.28m-rated Stoke City striker Peter Crouch, who has enjoyed somewhat of a renaissance this season.

Four goals and three assists isn't half bad for a player that doesn't feature that often in the first-team but now 36-years-old, we think the veteran forward might fancy his chances at more match minutes as he career comes to an end.

And an ideal last destination in England at least could be Cardiff City, who are enjoying a decent end to the second-half of the season.

The signing of Rickie Lambert didn't quite work out for the Bluebirds but in Peter Crouch, they could be signing someone who is hitting a bit of form just at the right time.

He's got bags of experience at this level and above and as we've seen in spells this campaign, has more than what it takes to still put the ball in the back of the net.

With Kenneth Zohore now coming good at the club too, could this be the striking partnership that sees the Bluebirds challenge for the top-six next season?

Only time will tell...
