The £1.28m-rated Aston Villa man who would really thrive on-loan at QPR next season

It’s been a so-so season for both Aston Villa and QPR in the Championship, where both teams have underwhelmed under managers Steve Bruce and Ian Holloway.

Holloway and Bruce both took charge of their respective sides halfway through the campaign, with both teams being in precarious positions with relegation very much looking on the cards for both sides at one point.

But now, both teams won’t be involved with a scrap at the bottom of the table this time around after pulling away from the trap door, and players from both teams will be thinking about the summer very time soon.

And there’s one man we think would really benefit from making a loan switch from Villa Park to QPR next season and that’s £1.28million-rated defender James Bree.

He joined Villa from Barnsley in January and as expected, he’s had to bide his time in the first-team squad for minutes.

He’s still very young still and needs a lot more first-team experience under his belt if he’s to really make it at this level.

There’s absolutely no doubt that QPR could do with some reinforcements over the summer months and he was a player that really thrived during his time at Barnsley.

QPR will be looking to perhaps mount a push for the top-six next season and Bree could very much be a part of that if he does make the move this summer, which would certainly suit both player and club.
