It was yet another disappointing afternoon for Nottingham Forest in midweek, whose play-off hopes are all but over after a drab run of form.

The Reds knew that they had to bounce back from a 2-1 away defeat to Rotherham United at the weekend, ahead of a trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night.

But after a solid first-half, Forest quickly began to crumble, with the Owls scoring three goals in 20 minutes to steamroll into a 3-0 lead.

O'Neill made plenty of changes to the side that were defeated at the New York Stadium on Saturday, with the likes of Arvin Appiah and Sam Byram being selected in the Reds' starting line-up.

There was also a personnel change in between the sticks, with Luke Steele coming in to replace Costel Pantilimon, however it was a nightmare evening for the 34-year old.

He made a host of important saves in the first-half, but will wince when he looks back at Wednesday's first two goals. He was caught napping off his line when Marco Matias lobbed him for the first goal, and could have arguably done better with George Boyd's left-footed drive.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to Steele's display in midweek...
