Millwall are looking to sign Stoke City forward Benik Afobe on loan, according to London News Online.

Afobe is no stranger to The Den having joined the Lions on loan from Arsenal in February 2013, making five appearances for the club.

Since then, the striker has caught the eye at MK Dons and Wolverhampton Wanderers, before joining Stoke under Gary Rowett in 2018.

Afobe has scored only nine goals in 51 appearances for the Potters, though, somewhat failing to live up to expectations so far.

He spent last season on loan in Turkey with Trabzonspor, scoring five goals in 29 appearances for the club, and another loan move now looks to be on the cards.

According to London News Online, Millwall are looking to bring Afobe in on loan, as Gary Rowett plots a reunion with the 28-year-old.

Rowett is looking to bolster his attacking options and bring in an out-and-out centre-forward, and Afobe certainly fits the bill.

He may not have had the best of luck in terms of injury in recent years, but he is a proven forward at this level who is capable of scoring goals.

Here, we take a look at what Millwall fans have made of this potential arrival...
