Birmingham City have announced that they've arranged for photos of fans that are key workers to be displayed on screens across the city, which has drawn an excited response from fans of the Midlands club.
It has now been more than two months since the EFL season was delayed but it has been reported that the Championship is optimistic about returning in June.
The lack of football has not meant a rest for clubs, who have had to take action in order to mitigate the issues caused by the current global and national circumstances.
They have also been busy to ensure they continue to keep fans entertained, often by looking back into the archive, and to celebrate the work of key workers that support their side.
The Blues announced on Friday that to acknowledge the efforts of the key workers that support the St Andrew's outfit, they have arranged for photos of them to be displayed on screens around the city.
On the club website, manager Pep Clotet stated: "The vital services provided by the many key workers has allowed the UK to keep running and we want to reach out to as many key workers as possible and thank them.
“From everyone at Blues, a big thank you to you - key workers. Keep Right On!”
