Many West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have begun talks to sign Matheus Pereira this summer.
The club’s manager Leonardo Jardim is said to have requested the signing of the Brazilian and it is said that they have placed an opening bid of just £6 million for the playmaker.
It is likely that the Baggies will reject this opening offer as it is quite simply so far away from their overall valuation of the attacker.
Pereira was in fine form for Albion last season and racked up 12 goals and six assists across all competitions despite the Midlands side eventually succumbing to relegation.
Naturally the news of the bid didn’t take long to reach the West Brom faithful, with many taking to social media to air their views on the matter.

We bought him for 9 when he'd only played in the championship 🤣
11 goals and 6 assists in the PL later… He's lost 2/3 mill to his value 🤣🤣
