Carlisle United have confirmed that Josh Galloway has left the club to join Leeds United.

The youngster was a regular for the League Two side during pre-season, but didn't make a competitive appearance for the Blues.

The report claimed that Galloway was attracting interest from a number of clubs, so it seemed as though it was only a matter of time before he left the club.

The second-year youth scholar will be hoping that he can force his way into the Leeds first-team under Marcelo Bielsa's guidance.

The Whites boss has already given a number of the club's younger players a chance in the first-team, so he'll be keen to make an instant impact with the Yorkshire-based side.

Leeds' under 23's boss Carlos Corberan has worked closely with Bielsa, and the Leeds youth team will be hoping for another successful season.

Plenty of Carlisle fans took to social media to react to his departure.
