Bolton Wanderers’ summer work is well underway, with Phil Parkinson preparing his side for a second year in the Sky Bet Championship.
Parkinson guided Bolton to safety in the Championship last season, with his side narrowly sitting above the division’s relegation zone after 46 fixtures.
The ex-Bradford City boss has already got to work in the transfer market, bringing in Jason Lowe on a two-year contract, with the 26-year-old arriving as Bolton’s first summer signing of 2018.
✍️ Bolton Wanderers are delighted to announce the signing of Jason Lowe on a two-year deal!

Lowe has a wealth of Championship experience, having played for Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City.
His spell with Birmingham was short, with Lowe only managing to make 11 appearances last season for the Blues, who found themselves battling with Bolton in the Championship’s relegation fight.
There was plenty of reaction from Bolton’s supporters following the announcement of Lowe’s arrival, with some unenthused that it wasn’t a more high-profile name.
Here is the best of the reaction…
