Hull City have completed the signing of winger Martin Samuelsen from West Ham on a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.

Samuelsen joined West Ham from Manchester City's youth side in the summer of 2015, but went onto make just two senior appearances for the Hammers, instead spending time out on loan in the Football League at Peterborough - where he played under current Hull boss Grant McCann - Blackburn and Burton.

The winger also enjoyed spells in Europe with Dutch outfit VVV Venlo and Norwegian side Haugesund, and has made a total of 97 appearances in all competitions throughout his career so far, scoring 19 goals.

The 22-year-old has not put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal at the KCOM Stadium, with the club holding the option of extending that deal by a further 12 months.

Following confirmation of the move, Samuelsen has become Hull's second signing of the January transfer window, after the loan acquisition of Herbie Kane from Liverpool.

Taking to Twitter to react to news about their clubs latest signing, plenty of Hull fans appeared to be excited by Samuelsen's arrival.

Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.
