Blackpool booked their place at Wembley in the League Two Play-Off Final following an invigorating second leg against opponents Luton Town on Thursday evening at Kenilworth Road.
The Tangerines went into the encounter with a 3-2 aggregate advantage from the opener, but knew the Hatters would very well be up for the fixture.
Nathan Delfouneso got the night off to a brilliant start his goal in the first quarter of an hour, before Luton got an equaliser when Kelvin Mellor put the ball into his own net.
Defender Scott Cuthbert gave the hosts a lead on the evening and a controversial penalty from Danny Hylton, whom many thought he had dived, meant Nathan Jones’ men were two ahead.

The match didn’t end there as Blackpool’s Armand Gnanduillet got the score line equal on aggregate, 5-5 in fact, and the match was heading for extra-time before a Stuart Moore own goal meant the ex-Premier League side would be heading to Wembley.
