Derby County fans will be relatively happy with how the first half of their season has gone under Frank Lampard. 

The Rams sit in sixth place with 26 matches played and huge credit must go to Lampard and his backroom staff for breathing new life into the squad with a slick, attacking style of play.

This has largely been achieved through the summer transfer window with the arrivals of Jack Marriott, Mason Mount and Harry Wilson, in particular, proving to be hugely important alongside Tom Lawrence in a lethal attacking quartet.

And whilst many fans will be hoping for a similar calibre of arrival this month to help with the season run-in, today had a special meaning to one of those summer recruits.

It marks the occasion of Mason Mount's 20th birthday.

The Chelsea loanee has been thoroughly impressive since arriving on loan in the summer, scoring six goals and assisting three more in all competitions.
