‘That performance deserved all three points!’ – Ipswich fans react to their draw with Reading

Published

on

Ipswich Town haven’t been in the greatest vein of form in recent weeks and with Mick McCarthy under a lot of pressure, it could have been an awful time for Reading to come to town.

But Town showed up on the day and claimed the first goal of the match to send them in to half time with a 1-0 lead.

Jordon Mutch then replied early in the second half by adding his first goal for the club but Tom Lawrence scored his second goal of the day with half an hour left.

However the Tractor Boys couldn’t quite see the job through with a Jordan Obita equaliser coming relatively late in the game.

Despite the disappointment of sacrificing their lead, Ipswich can be happy with their work especially because of Reading’s success so far this season.

Ipswich fans took to Twitter to react to their point and below are just a few that sum their day up…
