The Marco Silva era begins today at Craven Cottage as Fulham get their Championship season underway against Neil Warnock's Middlesbrough.

The Cottagers' latest stay in the Premier League was a brief one and after failing to keep the club in the top flight, Scott Parker decided to part ways with Fulham for a crack at the AFC Bournemouth job.

Silva has taken over from Parker in the dugout and he's brought fan-favourite Luis Boa Morte with him, with the Portuguese duo looking to secure an immediate Premier League return for the club but their task will not be an easy one.

As of now a lot of Fulham's top earners and big players remain, such as Aleksandar Mitrovic, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa, Tosin Adarabioyo, however there's still time for things to change between now and the end of the transfer window.

And judging by how the Londoners are lining up today against Boro, it looks as though Anguissa himself could be about to exit the club.

There is no place for the Cameroon international in Silva's line-up and there's been speculation regarding an exit to either Everton or Valencia.

Silva has instead opted to put faith in some youngsters, with Tyrese Francois and Fabio Carvalho both starting in midfield with big hitters such as Harry Wilson and Aleksandar Mitrovic also starting.

It's the absence of Anguissa though that is being most discussed, however there's still some optimism amongst fans that it is a good line-up that Silva has chosen.
