Everyone connected with Swansea City will be delighted when waking up this morning, having recorded a 1-0 win over bitter rivals Cardiff City at The Liberty Stadium yesterday.

One player who is particularly delighted this morning is Wayne Routledge, who grabbed the assist for centre-back Ben Wilmot's winner with a delivery from a well-worked corner.

The South Wales derby win was just Routledge's second start of the Championship season, as he played a vital role on the wing to help Swansea get the three points they need to maintain a push for promotion back to the Premier League.

34 year-old Routledge has had his fair share of memorable moments in a Swansea shirt after signing for the club in 2011 from Newcastle United.
