‘Thank you for bringing the heart and soul back’ – Villa fans react to positive message from owner after Forest win

Aston Villa secured their third consecutive league win after a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest yesterday.

Steve Bruce’s men produced an accomplished display at the City Ground and took home all three points thanks to Scott Hogan’s first half header.

With Cardiff and Derby County also winning, the victory leaves Villa in fourth position and five points away from the second automatic promotion spot.

The result makes it nine points from nine after challenging games against Middlesbrough, Bristol City and Forest. And, after the game, owner Dr. Tony Xia took to twitter to share a positive message with the fans.

Villa’s Chairman is regularly interacting with fans on social media although he kept it relatively low-key following yesterday’s big win.

It comes days after Xia tweeted that the next ten games would be crucial to Villa’s season and they’ve started that run perfectly.
