Many Millwall fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the news that the club would be open to listening to transfer offers for Jon Dadi Bodvarsson.
The Icelandic striker endured a tough season at the New Den in the campaign just gone and found the back of the net just once in 38 league games.
As a result of this, the 29-year-old has now begun to slip down the pecking order and it is said that the club are eyeing up the possibility of moving him on in order to make room for new signings this summer.
Indeed, since joining the Lions back in the summer of 2019 from Reading, the towering striker has only scored an alarming seven goals in 75 games for the Sky Bet Championship outfit.
Naturally this recent update over Bodvarsson’s future at the club prompted widespread reaction from the Millwall fanbase on social media.

Here, we take a look at some of the best responses to the news from supporters on Twitter.
It’s fair to say that his Millwall spell has not been that successful! What I will say, however, is that I have never seen him not give his best! The problem is that it did not feature scoring goals which really is what a striker’s job is! I wish him well if, and when, he leaves!
