Derby County have recently announced that they have opted to sell Max Hunt to League Two side Carlisle United.

Hunt has been out on loan with Vanarama National League side Aldershot Town, where he made 22 appearances in the first-half of this year's league campaign.

He originally signed for Derby back in 2018 from Matlock Town in January 2018 and featured regularly for their Under 23s side for much of last season.

But it seems as though Hunt hasn't done enough to warrant a future with the Rams, although many are surprised that he has left the club on a permanent deal.

Derby are currently sat 17th in the Championship table, and will be hoping they can fire themselves up the second tier standings at the earliest of opportunities.

Plenty of Derby fans weren't best pleased with Derby's decision to sell Hunt on a permanent deal to Carlisle United.
