For perhaps the first time this season, there has been some positivity surrounding Sunderland, after Chris Coleman guided the club to just their second victory of the Sky Bet Championship season last weekend.
Goals from James Vaughan and George Honeyman last weekend secured a 2-0 victory for Sunderland over Burton Albion, as Coleman dragged the club off the foot of the Championship table in just his second fixture in-charge.
Understandably, Sunderland’s spirits have been high this week, as Coleman prepares his squad for Saturday’s clash with Reading at the Stadium of Light, where the Black Cats will be looking for their first home victory over 2017.
Poor weather across the country threatened to halt Sunderland’s preparations yesterday, but the good mood surrounding Coleman’s squad was highlighted in a social media post shared by the club’s official Twitter account, showing the first-team squad taking part in a snowball fight.
